Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about how mobile tire service works. Don't see yours? Call (806) 471-0109.

(806) 471-0109 Open 24 hours, 7 days a week

What areas do you serve?

We cover Amarillo and the surrounding Texas Panhandle, including Canyon and Hereford. If you’re calling from somewhere outside that stretch, go ahead and call anyway; we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a drive we can make.

Are you really open 24/7?

Yes. E&C Roadside Service answers calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A flat tire doesn’t check the clock, so neither do we.

What kinds of vehicles do you work on?

Cars, pickups, trailers, semi trucks and commercial trucks, and farm equipment like tractors and implements. If it rolls on tires and something’s wrong with one, call and describe what you’ve got. We’ll tell you whether we can help.

Do you carry used tires, or only new ones?

Both. We keep new and used tires on hand, so if your tire is too damaged to repair, there’s a good chance we can mount a replacement on the spot instead of sending you off to wait on a shop.

How do you decide whether to repair a tire or replace it?

It depends on where the damage is and how bad it is. The U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association limits repairs to the tread area, with a puncture no bigger than 1/4 inch across, and says not to repair damage that reaches into the shoulder. Sidewall damage falls outside that repairable area, so it means a replacement, not a patch. (Source: USTMA, Tire Repair Basics.) We’ll look at the tire in person and tell you straight which option applies before we do anything.

How much does it cost?

We quote the price on the phone before we drive out, based on what you tell us about the vehicle and the problem. We don’t publish flat rates because a tractor tire in a field and a passenger tire on I-40 aren’t the same job. Call (806) 471-0109 and ask; you’ll know the number before we leave.

What should I have ready when I call?

Your location or the nearest mile marker, what kind of vehicle you’re in, your tire size if you know it, and whether you already have a spare. That’s usually enough for us to quote the job and head your way.

Do I need a tow for a flat tire?

Often not. Tires are our focus, and if we can repair the tire or mount a new or used one on the spot, you drive away instead of waiting on a flatbed. If your problem turns out to be bigger than a tire, we’ll tell you that honestly on the phone.

Can you help with a semi truck or commercial trailer on the highway?

Yes. We handle semi truck and commercial tire service around Amarillo, including rigs stopped on I-40 or I-27. Call with your location and trailer or axle details and we’ll get moving.

What about a flat tractor tire out in the field during harvest?

We can come to the field. Farm equipment tires are part of what we do, and getting a tractor rolling again on-site usually beats hauling it into town. Call and describe the equipment and where you’re parked.

Stuck on the shoulder right now?

Call and tell us where you are. We answer 24 hours a day and bring the tire to you.
